Seoul-based art collective, Dada Service, has been making major waves in the global culture circuit lately. Driving events and collaborations with some of the hottest names in Korea, Dada has effectively seen itself evolve into a major platform for art and culture the likes of which hasn't been seen since V-Files emerged in NYC.

 

Their much-anticipated collaboration with Bearbrick was a huge milestone for the collective, and signalled Dada's legitimization by the art world at large. In honor of this collaboration, we created a short animation featuring their design. This project, though only 10 seconds in total, is technically complex.

 

Under the hood, this animation features 1:1 photogrammetry, retopology, and an ultra-high resolution fluid simulation.
